The musical, "Dirty Dancing — The Classic Story on Stage" will open Sept. 2, 2008, at Chicago's Cadillac Palace Theatre. Can it live up to Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey? I have high hopes.

  • Jesus. It seems like every other Broadway musical these days is taken from an '80's movie. What gives? Is the the high possibility for camp? The cheesiness? Bad music? Bad acting? In the name of all that is Divine–someone tell me!
