People often ask me how I started at Current. Well this pod is basically the jumping off point. It was shot by my best friend, and it was his vision that sent me to Afghanistan and launched me into Television.
As I was preparing for the trip I lost eleven good friends. Two of them had been in my element in the service. The one survivor went on to write an epic book about the story. Its called Lone Survivor. The story is extraordinary. If you but the book, remember, Marcus donates the proceeds to the families of the guys we lost that day. Marcus, all class.
