  • The problem with this guy is he didn't follow the law. Of course we know marijuana is illegal on a federal level, but in California it is legal with prop 215. They never mention whether he is a prop 215 patient. He just started growing his own in his back yard. And even with 215, you are still only allowed a certain amount of plants depending on what county you're in. They definitely should have played more on the fact that he was in compliance with the local laws (if he even was) instead of the fact he is handicapped and needs his weed.

  • You cannot make laws against nature. It is a native plant in all of North America. This is just the same party line of conservative lies about this plants use or ability to grow anywhere in California. Heck if this fellow even made a buck on plants who cares? By the way the quote "people kill and die over marijuana" That is true, Police kill and sick people die over it. The law means nothing if it is a law against all that is decent. This is a God given right of his, not to be taken by anyone who believes because it was written on paper in 1937 that is was a illegal because of tax law... These officers are vigilante and acting in such a way that it makes it impossible for even good meaning people to see the truth about the criminalization of good people. FACT : it was legal for thousands of years prior to 1937. FACT: It has been used for medication, pleasure, food, religious ceremony for thousands of years before prohibition. FACT: Violence was only introduced to an association with this natural plant when the police go against nature to prohibit good people from possessing it, as a result police have shot and killed many people during raids. Prior to that I cannot think of any well documented deaths related to Marijuana. FACT: It needs to be out of legislation and treated as any other native plant that is growing in North America. Like the California Poppy. Leave it alone, it is part of the ecosystem and harmless.

  • Well put gargoylex. Very true stuff. The fact of the matter is, however, they have made laws against nature. I'm just saying the video would've been more solid if they would have focused more attention on the fact of him being in compliance with state/county laws. If he was really smart, and had the cash, he would've kept the medicine growing inside, away from other eyes.

    And as far as the God given right goes, Genesis 1:29 says:
    Then God said, "Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the surface of all the earth, and every tree which has fruit yielding seed; it shall be food for you;

    So for all of you out there who want to do something about this, and help people like this man out, go to the following website. Read what it says and understand what it means, then do your part. You have a chance to email your state's representative and tell him how you feel about the DEA picking on medical patients. Everything is already done for you, just fill in your name and state and that's it.

  • I do know theres a limt on how many plants you can grow, I agree his neighbors are nosey! Thats seriously stupid that they would try to prosecute the young man who obviously is no harm to anyone.
