John Prettyman articleI don't know if I'd go as far as to call him a Steven Spielberg, but this clip definitely showed a different side of Army Life than portrayed on CNN.-

Yeah, I'm not sure if this is an accurate portrayal of all troops but it does look like it can get pretty boring.

Uh, excitement is what for him? Shooting his gun at someone? Terrorizing people with weaponry?
A, I don't think that's fun, it's tragic actually and it appears to be a propaganda piece aimed at encouraging young men to donate their short lives as cannon fodder.
Don't get me wrong, I support the troops, I don't support the mission, and it's not a righteous war, in fact, it's not a war at all - but given enough time and effort, it really could become a war.-

I agree with your post on the iraq war. Even though this war is very stressful it still is for the liberty of this country. I just wanted to let you know that I support everyhting you do over there. I have a freeind that is in iraq and he says also that the wait for the airplane over there is very streeful and tiring as well. Well what you are doin over there I support you 100%. Well I would just want to say thank you for what you are doin.
