  • Sometimes spontaneity makes for the best storytelling. We literally stumbled upon the Easter Parades in Antigua, Guatemala. Driving back from an interview, we noticed that the streets were blocked off and everyone was decorating the streets. When traveling for work, our shooting schedules make for long days. I get so focused on field producing and reporting that I dont get to take in my surroundings.

    So it was a special treat to be able to take in some culture AND also shoot a story about this interesting Catholic tradition.

    Big Camera, Little People.
    Guatemalans are not that tall. So it was pretty easy to spot Adam Yamaguchi in a crowd. Besides the fact that we were the only 2 random Asian people around, He was 2 feet taller than most people there. Even I was taller than the locals, and I'm only 5'2!
