Adam Yamaguchi heads to India to study the subculture of homosexual male sex workers. The population of male sex workers has risen in India, which has also spurred a rise in unsafe sexual practices. Sunil Menon started an organization called Sahodaran Outreach Center which targets male sex workers in India to teach them about safe sex practices and HIV and AIDS prevention. Adam learns about the MSM population, or men who have sex with men and how the Sahodaran Outreach Center is seeking to educate them about prevention and disease prevention.

This is an interesting glimpse at contemporary life for India's MSM community;although "community," as a concept, must likely be expressed in quotes, considering the loose and fragmented group of men who seek MSM contact in India. It would be worth exploring further the substance of why men are marginalized to seek furtive sexual contact with other men in India in context of the legal and socio-religious foundation of their society.

India stands out from a lot of countries by trying to overcome the controversy of safe sex sex education. Condom use in India is not popular and government is trying to promote it in order to stop AIDS and STD spreading.
