In this Current Gigs piece, VC2 producer Alex Simmons looks at a day in the life of a "disaster cleaner," a person responsible for wiping away the physical mess left behind from murders, suicides, hotel thrashings and frat parties alike, things even the police refuse to touch, but someone ultimately has to deal with.

  • Nice work! Who knew these guys were even out there until now?
  • I can not believe that this pod only has two comments before mine.. this is one of my favorite pods next the the mining for bling pod. Why? not because it is gross, but because this is definately one of those things that we never get to hear about, jobs like these. Since watching this, I have never ever seen a hotel room the same way again.... specially when I was in new orleans doing my pod... yikes!!!!! btw, please check out my pod..

I look forward to seeing more jaw dropping topics being covered by this producer.

  • I loved this pod. Never even heard of the profession, I'd do it though.
