There are still 6-10 million landmines in the ground in Cambodia. Kaj Larsen travels to Cambodia where he investigates the ongoing landmine problem.

While Cambodia has some of the highest number of active landmines in the world, according to some stats, Colombia actually has the highest number of landmine victims; a product of the ongoing conflict with FARC.

very good to see clearance in operation, i have spent much time in Cambodia and have seen many landmines ( flagged i.e. identified) in Sen Monorom, also very friendly with explosive ordnance clearance & disposal project manager ( babes,is his nickname ) who enlightened me on the hazzards of mine clearance.very brave people. Cambodia needs more people like that to clear a major problem. beautiful country needs so much help.

It is bothersome that in this day and age, that they do not have the technology to detect landmines save for human power.
