    This actually wasn't nearly as bad as I had been fearing during my time in Tegucigalpa. Tracey and I asked our local translator that we wanted to sample something different/exotic, and she mentioned "curiles," explaining that it was something like a sea slug. So i was braced for the worst. This was slimy, alive and very sea-ish, but it wasn't too bad.

    Whenever we go to a foreign country, we try to embrace as much of the local culture as we can (or as much as my stomach can handle). This was a perfect example of that. I tried some myself--and Adam's right--it wasn't too bad. But I'll leave it to the guys to determine whether it's really the Natural Viagra, as the locals believe.

    Hahaha that was so funny!
    Although I have to say that it's kind of sad to see the curiles squirm around and die.
    It's pretty obvious from the reaction, but it'd be kind of cool to hear more about the actual taste and texture of them. Maybe it's common knowledge to know what a clam tastes like, but I've never had one--nevertheless, a live one that just died in my mouth.

    I'm sorry, but there is NO way you could ever get me to eat that. I stay away from most seafood anyway, but live animals are definitely a no-no. Adam, you're brave!

    This is a great pod. I would never eat that, but it's still a great pod. I wish this pod had more details to the landscape around and movement, but this is one of those pods where you sort of don't want the extra stuff. Great job.

    Interesting pod. I don't really know if I could do the whole eating live animals thing though. I thought this pod was lacking alot though. I would have really liked to know why the clams are natural aphrodisiacs. The pod is titled "The Natural Viagra", but it only explores that subject for the last 20 seconds. Not up to par to go through.
