Ever wonder how many trails of personal information you've left behind and what this information is used for?

being UNABLE to watch these online is a bloody pain in the butt.

what''s the bloody point of CurrentTV presenting me a slideshow of a show I can''t watch?

if I wanted to watch TV, I would.

    no embedding?

bah! this service is losing appeal.

I made this pod as a VC2 Producer for Current before I started here as a full-time AP in the Acquisitions department. The pod was part of an investigative fellowship called the "News 21" project. Check out this INTERACTIVE FLASH project I made to go with the pod. You can follow-up on each one of Brooke's "Digital Trails" and see where her personal information is actually going, who is looking at it and how the government is accessing it.

Loved this... I've been thinking of doing something like this... oh well.

    Great work.

Paranoia much? This is kinda wierd, it's like that book by George Orwell where the government's got cameras everywhere and is spying on the public.

I don't do nine tenths of this, I leave no digital trail. I use no cell-phone, no magnetic membership cards, no credit card - I go to the bank and take out the money I need to do my shopping, so what I have bought cannot be traced to me. I have a year pass for public transportation which is not a digital gimmick - when there are checks, I just have to show it. No trace of what bus or tram I took, where I got on or off. I also walk a lot.
