A series of announcements regarding the North Korean nuclear bomb test:
The official North Korean statement on the success of the test; North Korea's ambassador to the U.N. saying the Security Council should congratulate North Korea for its nuclear test; and Bush's response condemning the "provocative act."

I believe this could be good for the Koreans. For too long the country has been a stepping stone for its neighbors. How the south & north will unify peacefully is another matter.

North Korea claims nuclear testArticle circa 2006. So many people wonder if this test actually took place, and whether or not it was successful. Most people just think that North Korea's leader is crazy. What about you?
