Joe Hanson has certainly done a number of questionable things over the course of the Joe Gets series. But he's never done anything to get in trouble with the law. That's why he took a ride down to the station to find out what happens when Joe Gets Arrested.

    I really like your pods overall, but this one came to a shock to me! After seeing it I was so sick to my stomach & really pissed off! Talk about a touchy subject. That one really brought back some bad memories for me. I was wrongly arrested (and non-convicted) by them in the past, and seeing the cops that arrested me was definitley something I didn''t think I''d ever, ever see on Current TV. The same people who had tried to wrong me before!!! They left such a bad taste in my mouth, that I actually moved out of the town of Lisle.

    It was very cool to see you guys that close to my home & I just want 2 give u guys more support cuz your programming is clearly the best out there. If you are ever in the Chicago area & you want help w/ anything let me know.

    I know the last time I wrote to you guys you wrote back, so in the event of you writing back, I must know, what made you choose Lisle, IL out of all the towns in the US?

    Thanks for the note. When Joe and I were pitching the idea to various Chicago-area police departments, we ran into a bunch of red tape. In the end, Lisle pulled through for a very simple reason. Basically, Lisle is my hometown; where I grew up and went to high school, and where my parents live now. I guess the police dept. trusted one of their loyal citizens. What a terrible mistake on their part.

    As for your situation with the Lisle fuzz, it''s unfortunate to hear about your experience. If it''s any consolation, I''m pretty we''ve been banned from setting foot on the premises since our shoot.

    Anyways, I hope our other pods are less traumatizing. Thanks for watching!

  • I see u showed this pod again...it was last nite...7/31/07... I was just telling my friends, who all watch Current (as it is usually on in my home) how Current TV showed this pod and how mad it made me, and guess what, it then it came on... very wierd. But anyway, you did answer my question live actually, and thanks for that...(in regards to why you chose Lisle) but again, I wish you''d stop showing that pod. You have so many other cooler ones... That was some of the worst stuff 2 have 2 experience out there...I never got the cell w/ the bed either, I was in the same holding cell as u though :)(I''d be different if they didn''t try to violate my constitutional rights in Lisle; thank God for my lawyer!!!) Keep up the cool pods, and just know that if u ever need any help in the Chicagoland shooting any pods... let me know!

  • Well, finaly a cop brave enough to admit there real objective, "To arrest people". The cop in the video says that arresting people is his job, funny, I thought it was to protect and serve.
