I gotta admit that I am pretty squeamish and definitely have to close my eyes for parts of this pod, but I still love it! Who knew that there were some many nose jobs in Iran? I certainly didn't!

This "western ideal" is one I've observed in other countries--especially ones in Asia. I remember sitting in the back of a taxi in Shanghai, seeing an advertisement on the seatback for eye/eyelid surgery to make an individual's eyes look bigger and rounder. The ad specifically used the phrase "western eyes" to try to lure customers.

We all want to look our best...I thought the pod was amazing and I found this article online today that made me think of it and gave some more insight into the situation.-

I really like this piece. There is great movement and I love the real moments with the women talking. You really get a sense of Western influence. The piece really just speaks for itself.

I have seen the same ads from advertising the same eyelid surgery in Asia to give the people an eyelid clef, however, what is also popular is skin bleaching which removes the yellow pigment from the skin to make it whiter.

Inaspettatamente, l'ossessione per la chirurgia plastica รจ radicata in Iran. Le donne di una famiglia si sono sottoposte all'operazione quasi come fosse una tradizione tramandata da madre a figlia. Video interessante.
