What is this cartoon all about? White people should let immigrants come in with no limitations just because they were once immigrants as well?

I am not a white and not an american citizen either, but I am sure everyone knows there was no such a thing as a unified Indian country at that time, and the U.S. has established and developed mainly by Eropean people. Then why they can''t control the immigration whey they feel it''s necessary?

And why the pilgrims are depicted as just escaped from hell? I don''t think you guys are just talking about the then religious conflicts. So do you want to say America has been and is a f**king better country than England? Are you so happy spitting on your great grandparents'' faces?

among other things, this pod simply suggests that people don''t have to be "attached" to land or to a certain country. it makes the point that we are all people before we are english or american or from any native american tribe.

This video speaks a lot about the subconsious fears of authors and the current situation wth immigration if you remember that the indians were all but wiped, together with their culture, by the immigrants. I thought that the current situation is not as dangerous to US.

I think this spot touch''s on many of todays immigration issues. Archie(aka Mr.Buffalo)is the only voice of reason,and nobody seems to be listening.Either that, or they are very,very stupid. Which,in my opinion is the latter. When the eagle says,"What''s the worse that can happen"?(obviously high on some psychotropic berries)we unfortunately do know what happens.But instead of rape,degradation,and murder,it happens to be illegal drugs,gange violence,welfare fraud,and I.D. theft. Which,when you give it some thought,in terms of this day and age,they are exactly the same.Some in different ways,but pretty close. Go to any welfare,social security office,Hospital emergency room,or clinic,and observe.They are all barely functional and overcrowded.Guess why, and guess who''s paying For it.Not them,and I can say that with 100% confidence. It indeed falls on the shoulders of the "legal" American worker,Again!!!!You can''t tell me that mexicans are not a strain on our resources.In a neighborhood that I used to live in, with over 75 mexican families, only two guys ever went to work.How do you pay the bills with no job? Oh,thaaaaaatttts how. Let me also say that, when people talk about latin people they tend to group us all together.Cuban''s,Dominican''s,Puerto Rican''s, etc,.We are not all the same ,and most spanish speaking races dont like Mexicans,or to even be mistaken for one. Most will be offended if you ask them are they Mexican.I think That say''s it all right there!!!!!!

Evrerybody knows about illigal immigration for decades, either before or after any given amnesty. "Everybody" included the government. Of course they always knew and have just falowed the way to garanty their elections, pleasing the people who "earn" profit from cheap labor!
But the problem is that TODAY the thing went out of control and is something screaming for solution. There is no way to hide the need of a reform. And ... the conservadors republicans, once again, trying to keep up with the elections results, are vomiting words against a mistake that is not only of the "illigal Aliens" but of the sistem too !
But unfortunaly, how sad souzazimmermann, there are people still thinking inside the box !

I fear for so many of the elected officials because I do know they are worried if they make the wrong decisions they might not get re-elected, which is only good common sense for them to listen to what the people are wanting instead of what they want to satisfy theirs and the lobbyist that gave them all the financial support to sway their decisions. Leaving politics out of this would be like leaving the ice cream off of pie a al mode. We must stick together sensibly to get what we need accomplished. I for one believe the governor of Oklahoma has the right idea and if you were to read up on the Oklahoma''s agenda on immigration (fine and punish those who employ illegal aliens, put the illegal''s in jail and then deport them. Even if necessary giving jail time to employers that hire them) you would get an idea of what might need to be done all over this country, plus securing our borders, even if it is to jail anyone jumping the fence or entering our country illegally. What I can''t understand is why Mexico can''t build more manufacturing plants closer to the borders with good paying jobs, that we could help finance with the things we need, like one guy suggested, build a Wal-Marts splitting the border. there must be millions of people in border towns that would jump at the chance to work there, as like the Sam''s Club''s have all kinds of physical work for employees, even tire changing, janitor work. What it all boils down to is that Mexico needs to make the opportunities better for it''s people and they wouldn''t want to even come here and put up with all these crazy people like we have in congress; hehe! I also suggest that not only we get a better health care system, but Mexico do likewise. I can''t see why we can''t even work together on a health plan that could be beneficial to both country''s by doing what Michael Moore suggest''s from his new movie "SICKO." We definitely could learn from Mister Moore from his movies. We darn sure need to wake up and do something the people want for a change instead of what the big businesses suggest and they too need to stop buying up inventions that will help us get away from our dependencies on oil and natural gas. I''m appalled at our government for allowing this to happen. We definitely need some changes in congress and before you vote on anyone, you should screen them better so your piece of pie will be to you taste instead of big business and also allowing someone illegal take another job away from our hard working legal''s. I don''t believe Mexicans work harder than Americans, unless it''s a legal Mexican that wants to get ahead in a system our country intended. I am a hard working Irish, scotch, English, German, American Indian, that has many aches and pains from working my butt off for big business all of my life and I''m now on social security that I was afraid there for a while, Bush was going to take that away from us. I also want to breath clean air. Government needs to stop all the wrong things they are doing and do something right for a change; Don''t let big business buy up inventions. If there is one out there that will stop us from burning oil and bad gases; Government bid on it, buy it and put it to work for us, the sooner the better, Plus you better consider health care for all Americans too, or you are going to lose your job.
