Ashray is Bombay's first orphanage for children who have either been infected with or affected by HIV. Ashray provides a home where kids can learn English, Bollywood dancing, art, and enjoy other activities outside of their regular schooling.

What would the psychological affect be on these orphans if mandatory HIV testing were to be implemented?

Amazing! Thank you for opening my eyes to this organization. I live in Bombay and did not know of its existence. I hope more people will commit their knowledge and efforts towards supporting those who are HIV positive in India, because they need it!

It makes me so happy to see people in India helping each other and the children there....as an Indian man born and raised in America, I have been blessed to have many opportunities that these children do not enjoy....i hope to one day become more instrumental in efforts like this....these children are so worth the effort and you can see such a beautiful spark of life in their eyes....Thank you Ashray...
