    I love this pod. We have the same problems in Downtown and East LA, known for both its poverty and art... Your pod gave me many ideas about putting on art benefit shows in such factories and homes, for the people that upscale galleries are displacing. Art should be by people, for people, not only for those with money, and certainly never to displace people from their homes and jobs.

    Great piece on Wynwood. I can see both sides of the story but I think it's great to have such great galleries. Just wish we had some good restaurants in the neighborhood. I sell alot of lofts in the area and look forward to keeping both the old and new. http://www.joshsteinrealtor.com

    The Uptown area of Minneapolis, for a few short years, was awash with hipster boutiques and galleries. They came and they went. Now? It's a boneyard.
