Incredibly, the children also contemplate a possible reason for the genocide - that many of their attackers have never been to school.

This was a really sad pod, yet, filled with optimism. It was nice to hear something about Durfur, for it is rare in the mainstream media. As heartbreaking as it was, it was warming to see children trying to move on and work towards better lives. Thank you Localfilms for this. I would like to see more like it. Be Blessed.

I really liked this pod, although it was heart breaking. It is good to know that the children have optimism, and are aware that they can help themselves, and THEIR coutry through education. (Something that the US sometimes seems to lack in) Thanks localfilms!

I first off would like to say thanks to Localfilms for makeing and puting this pod out there. This pod was extremly sad, but now knowing that the children of Darfur have hope and believe that education will save there future is truely inspiring. When the children were talking about how the're familes and others were killed right in front of them, it really hit me, this has gotten out of control. Death seems so common people are starting to get numb feeling towards it, and that can't happen. I am happy to see the children running, playing soccer, hitting around a volleyball, but most of all just being kids. Thats what they are, aren't they? Kids that are forced to overcome and face tramindous hudles just to live another day. This pod I hope really opens peoples eyes, as it did mine. Darfur can't do this alone. My love and support goes out to everyone who is affected by genocide. May God be With You. Thanks again.

Thank you for showing this again. Please continue to keep Darfur at the forefront of your pods - the conflict is far from over and we must continue to be active and speak out against this atrocity.

These children have experienced trauma on a scale no one has in this country, but still have a profound hope and appreciation for life that we can all learn from. Their value for education and their desire to rise above their past is truly inspiring. We need to help them get the education they need and deserve!

I can't stop crying. What is wrong with the human race. Such atrocity and hatred for each other is tearing our world apart. I would like to say there is hope for those subject to the ignorance of others but I believe idiocracy is becoming the status quo.

Such optimism. Its amazing. After all those children have been through and they still belive that anything is possible, that they can achieve anything if only they have the education. It is so inspiring. I think we can all learn something from them.
Simply beautiful.

Intense pain and suffering is what I see here.
We are both the observer and the observed.
If we do not change we will become extinct. If we do not change we are subject to the same -in an unrelenting pattern into enternity.
If we do not stop making the choice for pain and suffering and selfishness instead of love and peace and sharing this what we create forever.
We have the power inside of ourselves to create a future of Light instead of Darkness. We to make the choice to create instead of destroy.
