In the United States over 200,000 children are born with facial deformities each year. Many of these kids must live with physical limitations that make it difficult for them to eat, breathe, see, and hear. While they suffer physically from countless painful surgeries, it is the emotional scars left from their mistreatment by others that are often the most difficult to overcome.

Jacob, Ariel, and Sanam were all children born with facial deformities. Their inspiring stories of courage raise awareness of an issue of tolerance that touches us all.
