  • A strange pod. I was interested to see what people where wearing, but I don't think I found any of those clothing styles particularly from Oslo. Perhaps that's the point--all over the world people's styles are mixing and allowing for unique expression and locals styles aren't really that local anymore.

  • I agree with kunnikr, I have seen a good number of street styles now, and nothing seems to stand out to me saying "I am from this part of the world." Though it may be the truth for what people are wearing, I think that it is a world wide statement of desperation for individuality under the influence of our consumer oriented culture. We are all loosing our traditional identity and gaining an identity under a global media. The generalization of our conglomerates synergy and advertising typologies is becoming irritating to those who are tired of the trend in which everyone must be a part of the same image. Perhaps it is our generation that will overcome the consumer society ideologies in search of originality, and then be compelled toward a focus more on basic needs.
