A rare prehistoric shark has appeared off the coast of Japan. Awashima Marine Park officials say the Deep Sea Frilled Shark's usual habitat is around 2000 feet under water. They believe a seasonal up current brought this living fossil to the surface.

    • This is crazy! It reminds me of the poster I used to have on my wall as a kid with the weird sea creatures on the bottom and humans and apes at the top. Such a trip!
