Very well done. There is a lot of control behind this simple but touching story: camera angles, lights and colours, transitions and narrative. I really admire you Chloe for having done this alone. Congratulations.

I would like to say how, yes, beautiful this film was done. I feel Polly is not doing her work out of disrespect, but that she comes from a place of respect. I was a bit...scared to see what was being done, so that''s why I watched the film. I''m glad I did. I respect the fact that Polly gets her animals already deceased, and that she''s not out hunting them for sport or killing them just to get an art piece done. Thank you.

Wow, this is beautiful. I''ve learned a lot from this, well done in every way.

See more of Polly Morgan's work here on her websitePolly combines a dark surrealism with acute attention to detail in her superb artistic constructions using dead animals.

Polly says she loves animals and that making art out of their dead bodies is not disrespectful, because other animals would only eat them anyway... But isn't it unnatural to stuff their corpses and freeze them for eternity in a glass case to be gazed at as art-objects? I dunno...

I also want to say, that I think I was one of those "pips (or peeps) of bird lovers" who signed a petition to ask her to stop doing her work years ago. It showed my ignorance concerning the issue, and I am glad I now see what she does and I really love her work. The petition made it sound like she was going out and killing animals for art, and Polly is not. So thank you Polly for your unique work and I am sorry about the petition thing.

it was sounded really weird when i told my friend
"awe taxidermy is so cute" i had to re-word it... -
Polly's whole approach is uniquely eye opening. Few people have this kind of demeanor when talking about their job. The amount of passion this woman has, despite the occupation she is in, is quite inspiring!

i had a friend just wake me up out of bed to see this pod haha it was worth the loss of sleep. It's refreshing to see the bodies of these animals become art rather left squashed in the bike lane. beautiful!
