New York Underwater features the art of over 50 artists, depicting a New York flooded by rising seas. The Antagonist Movement hosts weekly art shows in NYC's East Village, showcasing creative artists and writers with a nonconformist bent. The movement "antagonizes" artists to create, providing a theme, a venue, an audience and a deadline.

Very cool! Antagonist Movement is awesome! Way to support artists!!!! good work guys!

The Antagonist movement represents the last stronghold of genuine "Local Yokel" culture in Manhattan. Despite absurdly high costs of living, NYC artists have anchored themselves in the heart of NYC''s underground art and music scene. They are steadily growing and branching out to other cities across the country and even the world, with pending shows in Berlin and Tel Aviv. Check them out.

it''s true that this stuff seems to be important to the sanity of those who have an almost nostolgic need to express or be part of an expression.
it puts me at ease knowing that people still create for the simple sake of it.-

Yes Aggie, they do believe it will happen. They also don't believe that they know more about climate change than scientist who have spent their entire lives studying the climate. But I guess you do...
