Great pod. The use of b-roll and music were very effective in this piece. What would a piece about someone who holds a ski event be without lots of footage of skiing? Not much, but this pod definitely had tons. I also liked how the footage was sped up and slowed down and cut to interesting rhythms in the music. I also think there was an interesting character in Kipp and that it was smart to build his character in the beginning before we got into the skiing stuff. It gives the audience a character and context through which to learn about and learn to care about the sport. I did think the piece started to drag a bit in the middle and would have probably cut out a few of the testimonials to Kipp's greatness/dedication to the sport. They got a little redundant. But, like I said, great pod.
