It wasn't that long ago that the Taiwanese took back control of their government from China. Hailing from Taipei, the Black Metal band Chthonic (pronounced Tho-nic) perform shredders like "Quasi Putrefaction" and "Indigenous Laceration" retelling the stories of Taiwanese myth and history. And with the gnarly Corpse Paint they put on their faces, we knew we had to get in on the action.
