    This pod highlights an interesting piece of propaganda, which reminded me of this incredible profile in the New Yorker on Adam Gadahn, otherwise know as Azzam the American, a 28-year-old from California who is now a member of al Qaeda's "media committee."

  • Adrian, I appreciate your honesty with the final title cards.

    I wish you could do pod about places like Fallujah being bombed out by U.S. military or security companies sending out mercenaries that kill innocent people so that viewers can get the bigger picture.

    NOTE: the Arabic title of the video was mistranslated. It says "Nitham Qaedat AlJihad Fee Bilad Al Rafidein" which means "the Al Qaeda for Jihad Organization in IRAQ."

    "Bilad Al Rafidein" is a classical Arabic term that means "The Land of the Two Rivers"- those rivers being the Tigris and the Euphrates. Not all the countries mentioned in the subtitles.
