Will-B and Kev Marcus, along with their manager Sam G, make up Black Violin, a group that seamlessly melds hip-hop beats and classic violin to produce a one-of-a-kind sound. After winning the Showtime At The Apollo Legend title in 2005, the duo performed with Alicia Keys, Aerosmith, The Eagles, Stevie Nicks, Linkin Park, 50 Cent, Lloyd Banks, Nas, Fabolous, Ciara, Fat Joe, and Lil Wayne.

Artist like this are what keep me listening. If Nas is right and hip hop is truly dead it will be resurrected. I am so tired of hearing recycled tracks and if I hear one more artist synthesize their voice I think im going to drown myself. I mean the track was good the first time. I dont need you reading lyrics that you probably didnt even write over one of my favorite beats. Now I know that hip hop was founded on samples and I love samples. Original ones not hits from the last decade recycled to be the next club bangers.
Sorry for the rant. I really just wanted to say that I like Black Violin and that I am thankful for the music they make.-
