Join Dharma Dog as we take a visit to the home of Cody Lundin, founder of Aboriginal Living Skills School and ACES Arizona Center for Environmental Sustainability. This is part 1 of 3, so make sure to check out the 3 other parts, as this guy who was once known as ABO DUDE gives us the low down on his eco designed house, the shit hitting the fan, and how to make fire with sticks. This work is part of a bigger picture that dharma dog pictures is currently working on which a feature documentary about "the end of the world as we know it"
"The House" Part of this was shot outside on one of Arizona's most windy days. Option was to bag the shoot or go with it. So keep this in mind all you hard core critics out there. Did the best we could with what we had.
Keep in mind also that, this a little bit over the 5 minute mark. So, if you can keep the focus for longer than 5minutes you might just be suprised.
Make sure you tune in to all three parts.
Cody is one hell of a person and to miss all three parts, is like missing the boat, said Noah.
If anything dont miss "The Interview" of Cody.

interesting subject matter. but get to the point faster. slow camera moves of birds are not enough to keep me watching, as much as I loved "Baraka. Also montages, as the one in the beginning NEED music. there are no exceptions. Opening bite also inconcise.

Interesting and nice concept of working WITH nature...I respect that...

There's a point at about the 5 minute mark just after Cody walks inside his house where it ends...or so it seems, and then it continues. That threw me off a bit. Also, in the shot where Cody walks into his house, can we see the cameraman's reflection in the window? Just a note. Otherwise, really cool stuff...very interesting to see this type of lifestyle.

The hope is that enough people will be interested to change the face of suburban sprawl, and why not, Cody proves it can be done. The fear is that we will HAVE to live this way because the oil based delivery system is going to fail someday...

the commentator returning after the shot of the grass and fade-out is not good. it kind of destroys a good ending. otherwise a nice piece.
