Water is one of the most versatile solvents known to man. There is one world ocean that connects us all. Watch as the greatest star in our sky is dissolved from ninety-three million miles away. A lone vessel travels meditatively through the orb's vastness, and we reflect on the beauty of the entire experience.

very nice pod. i cant wait to see more from this producer. my only suggestion would be to find a friend with a mono pod and ask him/her if you could borrow it while filming. too bad you couldnt find a structure like a bucky fuller dometo put in the picture.in order to creat a relaxing scene betwen natures beauty and technologys potential to be in balance with and a part of nature and her daily cycles.
all hail Eris!!!! -
hey joe & kelley, good pod, nice job on the music/sound editing. we need to collab soon. peace

I like the concept.. simple and meaningful... Love the guitar piece.. Nice job Joe.. I also like the blend of the ocean and music together.. I would improve that blend a little better with no humans in backround until the end when they applause... Just my humble opinion.. Greenlight!!! Hi Kelley!!

Awright, Joe and Kelley, very nice. I liked towards the end when the music cut and all you could hear was the ocean. Also when the boat makes the journey across the sun, nice timing.

You not only give the gift of a beautiful Hawaiian sunset, which can be hard to catch from a apartment in L.A., but you also remind us to stop and look around and to find beauty in nature. In the everyday. A beautiful gift indeed.
Thank you Kelly and Joe.
With love -
Great job Joe and Kelley!!! There are few things in this world more transiently beautiful than a sun meeting the horizon. Thank you for capturing it for us. The guitar piece is a very nice touch and makes it all the more reflective. Hope to see more soon...

That was a little piece of heaven in this hectic world we live in. I watched it a couple of times. It reminds us that all we have to do is stop and enjoy the beauty all around us. You captured the simplicitiy of that beauty. Great Job and look forward to more from Kelley & Joe. Beautiful guitar piece Joe!

This was a truely great video. I loved the music with the sun setting. I think this is everyones vision of the best way to say goodbye to the day. I think i would of appreciated it more with out the crowd and screaming children. The sound of the ocean the guitar and the image would of been perfect. Greenlight from me none the less.

Beauty - Thank you! The audio seems complex and confusing, which may be intentional and is not necessarily a bad thing. The zooms and shaking make the filmmaker the protagonist, when I'd much prefer the protagonist to be the sun, with a steady camera. Not sure if the text graphic at the start is necessary. Love the sounds of people, and their clapping/cheering at the end - a true interaction with nature! Keep shootin'!

I would love to see this in a fast pace 4-5x with the same music and just start with the music no title or anything.....and just as the sun goes down fade to the cheering.
oh yes and the camera please mount it.
I am not intending to sound rude so I hope it doesn't come out that way....I just never thought that I could enjoy a sunset before now. and I look foward to seeing it...from you I hope.
the music is Awesome.
my 2 cents

A tripod would have been a nice addition. Otherwise, I enjoyed it.

I like it but I don't really want to reflect on nature when I'm on the internet. Its a little hypocritical.
