In this episode David and Matt further examine the FEMA 2001 report. They try to be more proactive and identify some things to do to better plan for the third disaster on the FEMA report in 2001. The other two predicted in early 2001 - terrorist attack on NY and a hurricane striking New Orleans.

Thanks for the comments.
Yes I have been looking for mic - just havent had the time to research which one to get - particularly which brand.
The topic in this one was a little more somber due to the amount of deaths we are seeing.
We did manage to cut down. Its hard when there is so much information which is vital to get a unbiase point across. You want to display all sides before zoning into the "common-sense" solution. In addition we want to point out things so we can educate.
Technology could be improved - its my homemade studio in my basement. Green cloth from the fabric store - and Right now running Premiere LE - which most video people hate from what I gather.
Glad you like the concept and hopefully you learned something.

I had no idea I am copying off currenttv google news show.

Remember, if you're aiming to get your stuff on TV, it probably needs to be under six minutes (and that's probably going to maximize your aesthetic value too; this one is a little long to hold your interest all the way through. Unlike in the first one, it seems like you're rambling at times.)
I wouldn't worry about the google challenge aping Current's google stuff. If anything, it's flattering to them. Keep it.
I disagree with Stardate about the backgrounds being "noisy". Actually, I think the more background changes the better; they spice things up. Everything that gets on current is going to be amateurish. There's fun amateurish and there's pathetic amateurish. Yours is the fun version.
Also, I disagree with Stardate that you guys need to worry about "uhs". Just keep being natural. On the other hand, you do need a better mike and better lighting.
You're a really good team. It's hard to make info-skits like this entertaining, but you guys pull it off. -
wow. how unbelievably uninteresting. a true critique of a critique. i'm not sure what your motivation for a fourth party is. apparently, you'd be as useful as the other three, as you're ONLY pointing out what has been made public. the only 'truth' here is that you both can read. bravo.
as for your assessment on FEMA. shouldn't you be SINGING the praises of a government program that actually was CORRECT? FEMA is only an asset management agency in disasters. the TRUE and FINAL implementation of the suggestions of FEMA come down to LOCAL officials and their constituency. we don't live in a police state, david and matt, each person is allowed to elect the local representative of their choice, no matter how incompetent that person is.
very good of you to lay all blame on the government. how.... insightful and unique. it appears that we need a fourth party about as much as we need the third one.-
