  • Great visuals... I really enjoyed the ones you picked. I also like the way you pieced the shots together. The audio was great too... really fit the piece, with the music and sounds of the city.

    I like your idea too... it's very fun. It gave this Texas gal one cool window into a New York minute and makes me want to do the same down here. Because it's a fun way to show a minute of your world to someone in a land far far away. And I personally enjoyed seeing a minute of Brian's world.

  • I like it! Geat idea to leave out dialogue. I hate that awful horn noise you start your films with....but you make interesting films.

  • Interesting concept and visuals. My only criticism would be the music. I would have like the piece better if it didnt use articifial music. The ambient sounds you used were great, i wanted more of them, they made for interesting sound cuts/sense of space that i feel the music destroyed. More of that in place of the music would have made it even more of a raw, "set of captued moments" piece.

  • I agree with pscheehle's comment about the sound. You describe this as "sights and sounds" of NYC, but I would've like to hear more authentic sounds coming from the images we see. Also, I feel like this topic has been overdone...I think everyone knows the hectic and fast pace of NYC. Maybe do more of the juxtaposition shots (like the birds...a feeling of calm in a sea of craziness).

  • I love the shaky filming....it gives it a "real" effect...unobtainable any other way. It truly is a work of art. How couldn't it be? Litter blowing in the breeze shot to take your breath away....amazing
