Who would have thought that a giant donut would change the face of hip hop? No one. That's ridiculous. But damn! Real freestyle battles in Oakland? Mobs of hungry shortys? Witness the rise of rap's only deep-fried breakfast treat: Jelly D.

  • This is so great! I thought this was a great video showing a look at something a bit weird (a bit unusual)... and well.. I laughed. I hope this makes it!

  • I guess this would have been funny - if I had just smoked a bunch of weed.
  • Okay this is the Weird Al of the rap world and the Weird Al of movie making too apparently. Funny story, even more funny if it is true. But I can do without the stupid voice on the commentary. Hey if Andy Milonakis can have his own show and people watch it, I guess there must be a place for stupid TV

  • The worst thing about this clip is the voice over. Sounds like something from nickelodeon that " the kids nowadays" would find funny. very calculated and comes off almost as an insunt to the viewer's intelligence. to reiterate: the voice over sucks long and hard.
  • Um, I was expecting a little more from Al Gore TV.

  • Spare me, houston.blogspot. Hurry back to Limbaugh. I love'd Jelly D and what's wrong with getting to laugh - humor is a great way to deliver a message - though I wasn't looking for any messages from Jelly D. Took guts to do it. Glad you submitted it.

  • I think it's funny too. You've got to give credit for the line 'you cum once, but I cum in a dozen'. I swear the other rapper was about to wet himself :D

  • I don't like it. I won't watch it. I will give it a green light anyway, because it is well edited, and apparently, entertaining to some.

  • I've found the pod very funny, and quite well done.

I didn't like all those perky "preset transitions" in the video clip part (but I guess they were on purpose).

I agree with the voice... maybe changing it will make the video better.

  • That was pretty funny. I needed that one.

  • the still frame that is posted for its cover confused me because I thought i was about to watch a piece on herpes, and i also could've done without the weird voice of the narrator, but other than that it was so much fun
  • Funny shit! Good camera work.

  • Goes to show... any fool can get paid off rap music these daze. Exploitation of the art that was born from AfroLatin concrete of the NY streets is now big business. Weather an apathetic killer, pimp hustler or the comedic parodies of the former ("fa shizzle, can i say that").... ... i guess you can....
The beautiful musical art of my generation much like the rock n roll and blues of my grandfather, the jazz of my father has been pimped.
    Chuck Berry/Bo Diddley.... Elvis Presley
    Leena Horne/Billie Holliday.... Judy Garland
    Coltrane/Monk..... Kenny G
    Grandmaster Flash...... Jelly Doe nut

damn. i miss her... i used to love H.E.R and still do within the sacred space of my headphones.

yes, im hatin'... the gimmicks and exploitation

    BUK Down Babylon!!!!
