  • This is a MUST SEE. The media is NOT showing this type of stuff!

  • Storytelling like this is going to help define Current TV. It is as important to air this now as Adrian's Gaza Strip story was, just yesterday. I think Current should hire you to make a companion story to this, to yes, interview a few people who were driven enough to go and protest Cindy Sheehan's presence there. Let's hear their voices - and their logic - to take time away from work and family to oppose this woman's insistance to put a human face on the war. You could always refuse the assignment, but this is a perfect social issue for Current to take on from multiple perspectives.

  • Fantastic! The movement that's building around Cindy Sheehan and the Camp Casey movement is probably the most significant grassroots movement in more than 10 years.
  • This powerful video gives a very touching look at the emotional pain these women are going through. A true documentary.

  • Greenlight, are you kidding me? A bunch of poorly editied talking heads does not make a documentary. There is no coherent point - basically someone showed up with a camera and gave little thought to what they were shooting then edited all this random pieces together. Skip this one.
  • Greenlight. Citizens of our country should be hearing as many points of view as possible. The subjects in this clip are making a point about the current situation in the Middle East and how they feel about the loss of their sons and still they manage to say how they feel and embody peace all at once. The questions they have for Bush are valid. Don't let the video quality define your opinion. This film has been super-compressed so it is not being displayed in its original broadcast quality format.

  • I really don't think it has to be a polished documentary. The story is what's important. You can go to the sundance channel for professional documentaries.

Current TV is about citizen journalism.
  • Why doesn't the media show stuff like this? Every time I see Cindy Sheehan on television, it's followed by a bunch of talking heads questioning her motives and trashing her! Why aren't they reporting that the soldier's families have to send them food, water, boots and other basic equipment?!? People need to see this. It's very enlightening ... and very sad. How can anyone listen to these mothers and not be touched?

  • Greenlight. Very timely - should air now. It's not polished, but these people's stories supercedes any audio or visual problems. Good citizen journalism piece.
  • I think everyone should know what is going on. Finally, someone is speaking out about the war and the death of American soldiers. We actually have a face to look at not just a number dead or wounded announced by a news caster. This version of the video is not of good quality. But, I have seen a non compressed version of the video and it is clear. This war involves all of us and America needs to see this video. Thank you

  • No Greenlight.

While I certainly prefer to hear these people directly, (The media reduces both sides to mere caricatures) the editing makes this piece worse than raw footage.

There is no narrative thread nor continuity.

  • Simply not the kind of stuff I want to see on tv. I've seen enough advertising by the 527 groups.

Current should be informational, it shouldn't become a collection of left-wingpolitical ads.

  • I am appalled by the1pato's comment of Sept 3, as this is very heart-wrenching..to be so cold about death of loved ones is not human..and who said that confronting truths because of the horrendous outcome of this illegal war (facts are facts--no one can argue--they can just spew forth sheeple opinion) is "left-wingpolitical"? Sorry, the1pato..you need to open your heart up a bit...our "tv" as it currently stands in America is immature, ridiculously naive, and ignorant...this is real, and deserves to be shown...even if it's past the "greenlight" period, I give it a "greenlight" and 10 fingers up...
