very zen-like. feels like there should be more, not quite sure what though. feels like this is a segue into something. a bookmark of sorts.

I agree it seems just way to short of a piece that it seems maybe it needs something either before this footage or after it. It could be used like to describe what the song "the day the lights went out in Georgia" gives one a scene to paint in their mind. Maybe if you separated this piece into different scenes so that the first part with lights at full intensity is left on longer.

I disagree. This is simple, and while it is slightly esoteric, anyone over the age of 14 in north america knows about the World Trade Center. Five seconds from a host explaining what the lights were,and this piece is perfect just the way it is.
