  • Ok, I know this can happen :) I am making short films so I know what you are talking about.

I think if you could acutally capture a gig where everything goes well, perfect plus make some interview with guys (find a story they have to tell) = it could make a nice pod.

So, film a perfect gig, combine the footage (and cut it shorter, tighter) of the two: the bad one and the perfect one. Add the story guys will tell you (find a story in their life, it doesnt have to be about their music) and I beleve you will have a nice, short (5 min max) pod.

    Good luck.

  • thanks for the comment. for some reason this pod lacked substance. i just got lost in the edit. i think if it is re-cut without the split screens and whatnot it could be a much better piece. i was consciously trying to make it split-screeny sped up footage jumpy style, to try something new--- and that just isn't my style. clearly, not a strong pod.

  • I liked the story, but what happened to the ending?
  • Really lacks pace, unless this short is edited for the web site. The audio is really mediocre.

  • Actually, I digged the pace and your experimental edge.. George is pretty amusing to watch, loved the grill cheese action. You left me a bit hanging on the ending. A good start...
  • Cool......
  • I was diggin' it but disapointed by the ending! A simple summary of the
struggle, stress, and faith to succeed, added at the end of the pod, would have sold me for sure! Keep Grindin'
