This is all news to me. Us white people need a show like this to inform us of all these topics. "A brother on the down low." I would never have had any idea what that was.
PS Do you ever get barbers giving old fashion real straight razor shaves. That would be cool although the 'Down Low Stuff," is a lot more entertaining.
1 other thing I do see alot of male dogs that hump each other?
I guess that makes it a "Dog On The Down Low."
...ha ha .....funny whiteman laugh.
This is some really great, keeps ya watching stuff.
How fast would I get my ass kicked if said to a brother "Ni55er You On The Down low!"-

Thanks alot Brian.
We can't take all of the credit, without Current TV this piece wouldn't have reached you as quickly as it did.
As far as straight razor shaves, if you look in the background on the cover page/thumbnail, you'll see a barber prepairing to give one.
And to answer your last question, If you were fortunate enough to walk away with just an ass kicking after a comment like that, you might want to buy a lottery ticket that same day.

In the words of Coretta Scott King, "I still hear people say that I should not be talking about the rights of lesbian and gay people and I should stick to the issue of racial justice. But I hasten to remind them that Martin Luther King Jr. said, 'Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.'"

Well-Quoted Dean. Good hearing from you again.

Very edgy...informative...and a necessary topic of discussion. Great job again guys...keep it coming...I dig...I dig

I wonder if any guy that was "on the down low" like Terry Mcmillan's ex-husband would really give an honest opinion if he got his haircut at that shop while you all were filming? I would suppose not because then he'd be "on the up high" and his woman would know the truth about him and his late night hang out sessions with the boys. Keep up the good work VIP, because bringing awareness to this topic and it's behavior may help someone. Although it was light-hearted, funny and amusing the HIV and AIDS epidemic is growing at an alarming rate in the African-American community, so no matter how we get it keep the information coming.

I never understood why a brotha needed to be on the down low, it's too much pussy here in the world for you to like another hard leg. That is just my opinon. The bad thing about it is that you could be with a guy and he is a down low brotha, and you will never know. Unless like my man said he like it when u stick your finger in his butt or blowing bubbles in it. :)

I love it. This feels like Current to me. Real (not "reality") TV. Nice job, VIP.

"Brothers on the downlow cheatin on their significant other with a dude"...Ignorance is bliss I guess. Although I am in COMPLETE disagreement with their views I love the idea of capturing the brainstorm of the majority and how they feed each other looking for reasoning and ultimately acting as though they have proven their point. Fear of the unknown and fear of God drives people to say some weird shit. I think my next pod will be entitled, "The Biggest Homophobes Are The Deepest Closeted Homosexuals" and interviews to follow.

Pretty funny barber shop talk even though their opinions are pretty uninformed, let's say. Male dogs DO hump each other and so do other species. I would have liked a more complete take...like an interview with someone who would actually admit to doing it and why. All in all, well done, though!

I like the various opinions of the subject, especially coming from men.

Wow. Touchy topic. Great work. I love barbershop talk. Maybe you should cover "Marriage" next. Is it an outdated concept, a safe port or simple dogma to keep us from Polygamy?
