  • A side we rarely see. Interesting, fast paced editing.

  • poorly lit at beginning, muffled audio at end. But a great keepsake for the baby.

  • WOW!!!
Finaly a real picture of men being gentle with thier kids. We long for such images...Being the training coordinator for the National Center on Child Fatality Review www.ican-ncfr.org puts me in contact with very nasty people...not form the professional side...but from having an overload of information about how little we REALLY seem to care about kidz...From 0 to 21...lives are spectated, but not participated in, far too frequently!
It was a wonderful film...Having been a Peace Corps Volunteer, I can relate to being with your bud...24/7...it was one of the things I liked most about that experience.

  • I enjoyed this video. Thank you for sharing your day with us. You can tell that the man really loves his kid. I admire him for doing stuff with his son. I know pleanty of stay at home parents that do nothing with their kids and sit and watch TV most of the day. Well as long as they are watching current i guess its not that bad! Greenlight from me.

  • Very nice. I also enjoyed a view of a 'family dad' - very anti-stereotype, and as such, very enjoyable.

  • Regardless of any minor technical critiques, this piece deserves airtime if only to demonstrate that there ARE real stay at home Dads, that they can do it just as well as the ladies, and that this is a real viable option for men who might not want to participate in the achievement rat race, preferring to spend more time with their children.

  • As a father who just lost custody of his daughter I thank you for making this video. It shows there are men that make great parents and great husbands. I hope your wife knows how luck she is to have you.
  • Being a stay at home Mom I liked it. It shows how much you do and how busy you are and the challange of getting anything actually done for your self. You don't do much but it's very rewarding and I think that message was conveyed.
  • Awww...That was adorable. That kid is adorable.

The video was great. I like you get to see what he does throughout the whole day. But I would have liked to know what he sees in the future, like when his son goes to school, what will he do, you know.

But it was great overall! :)

  • Quite the domestic engineer. Nice to see father taking such an active role in raising a child.
  • What a beautiful little movie. Nicely edited, too.

  • fun - it's the life of the stay at home - man or woman - just interesting to see it from the man's point of view

  • Good editing and angles. Could use more "content". How was the adjustment to this lifestyle? What are some of the problems that had to be worked out? What are the attitudes of his friends/family? Advice for other "stay at home" dads.

  • Adorale kid. Good subject and good editing. Show it!

  • This is the type of reality programming that should be on the airwaves. A nice look into a modern family and what it takes to raise a child in the 21st century.
  • Very good -- reminds me of my upbringing and my current life as well...

  • definitely! very well done, it was touching to see the point of view of a stay at home dad, makes me sad however, to realize how much time is lost between the working mom and her son.

  • I'll tell you, it was some kind of struggle signing up to vote. It's even harder when you have a a little kid running to and fro, acting like a little kid. Maybe the sign in/up should a bit more user friendly and I'd betta that more people would be inclined to vote and express an opiion; but that's just me.

Yeah, the kid is cute but I wonder if they ever discipline him. It looks to me like he has the devil in his eye (the left one, of course).

I think they did a lovly job and this is the kind of story Current TV needs to show b/c this is your audience. People (men and women) understand this b/c this is what's going on.
  • Yo, that kid's frickin' cute.
  • Good stuff. I like the verite style, feels so real. There's nothing like this on Current and there should be. Just a day in the life of a stay at home dad. Simple but true. Great job, great topic. Solid technique and style. Hope it airs, and hope to see more from the makers.
  • The short film really gives a clear understanding of contemporary life. The father at home with the child in an urban apartment cooking and cleaning. The family comes across as happy.. I think this is a positive film that shold be enjoyed by all. It hasa very inspiring message. Share the wealth..

  • That is going to be me, I can feel it.
  • Too may issues for me to green light. Audio, pacing, lighting. I like the story itself, just too slow. I look forward to your next offering.
  • What a great dad! How awesome that you aren't afraid to show how important your son is to you! I love that you are willing to spend time with him. He will surely grow up very well and be well adjusted. As a housewife, its nice to see a video showing what life at home is like. I think people don't give us stay-at-home people credit for all we do. But, I personally wouldn't trade it for anything. Thanks for showing hw fun it can be!! BTW you have a beautiful family, you should be proud!
  • Great piece, I would greenlight it but the audio is all over the place. Check those levels.
  • Very cute.

  • As a former stay at home dad (now on again-off again) I could relate to a lot. But there is also a lot more you could talk about.

The details are nice, but I would prefer to know about your relationship with your son - what happens between you, not the things you do. I also would like to hear how your situation has changed you - if at all. And definitely give the kid more close up screen time, their emotions are so clear and honest that their faces speak volumes.

  • This absoloutly touched my heart! I've been an At-Home Mom, since my little boy was born 4 years ago. As you showed from a Dad's perspective, it is quite a job....but a very rewarding one. What a sweet and loving Dad you are, and your little boy is an angel! You need to give us some tips, on how you manage to get him to go to bed that easily...A task that I still have not mastered!
  • Nice story. Good music, light yet touching. I appreciate the content and the gender role resistance with confidence and pride. Keep up the good work with your family. Peace.

  • I found this movie to be quite endearing, the story well - told, and the love most evident. Nice work.

  • A nice story put together well.

  • I loved it. Thank you for showing me your day. It was so simple, but great.
  • How great to see a man being a Real man! Loving his child and being compassionate and helpful to his wife. It really warms my heart. I work in preventing severe and fatal child abuse and see far too many pictures that are anything but what you are show us here.
Thank you...it makes me smile...and I Need that!
    In Peace,
    Taj
