I think it got a little preachy with the commentary on documentaries and/or reality tv, however it was interesting that you used bigfoot as the metaphor. I don't know if the bigfoot costume is always supposed to be so cheasy, but it works so well. I will give you one greenlight up and one greenlight down, canceling them both out. Sorry.
-
Its a mockumentary, its supposed to be preachy against documentary form. Thats the point.
That monkey suit is sexified. -
AMAZING, I couldn't believe that Brad was Sasquatch, this is a true documentary. GREENLIGHT this golden baby.
-

I liked this movie and its different take at the mockumentary genre, and I have watched the other videos from david98, and they all are so different in themes and in genre. It is pretty cool to see young filmmakers having the ability to manipulate video so well. I thought the editing style was great, how it completely changed when the movie starts over. The camera work is pretty well done, even though it looks like it was done very cheaply. Funny and entertaining, you get my greenlight for sure. Keep up the good work

funny, spontaneous, and surprisingly elaborate. I thought the interviews were especially amusing--but those re-enactments were hilarious too.

I really liked the fact that its a film that lets a funny story tell itsdelf, instead of someone forcing an issue\joke on its audience.

Awesome! That was really well done & very funny. I thought the audio was mixed perfectly. The ending was classic. The still frames were hilarious. Good Work, Team Oops!
-
Great twist at the end. I thougt that was so funny that sasquatch turned out to be Brad. Funny Funny Stuff. The behind the scenes moment was very creative and unique. Nice work with the Time Code.

when it comes to mind blowing experiences, nothing blows me harder than a documentary about our missing link the Yeti. I will never forget this film like I will never forget that first blowing experience. Thank you team oops. Thank you.
-
Well produced, nicely shot and edited. Good job!
So does this mean the real Bigfoot is still on the loose? -
LOL....Man that was great!
I also love the re-enactments...
It was very creative.
Great job! :) -
This movie was great. I really liked when Tad was hunting the Sasquatch, those close up of his eyes are classic. Great job.
-

I love the different styles in the sections of the video, and the camera work was excellent! Also got a laugh out of MIchael Rugg, the guy with the Bigfoot Museum - is he for real? Keep the creative videos coming, Team Oops! Thanks!

i liked this movie because it is so cool, and so hot right now.

I gotta know how much of this movie is real, and how much is fake. I think the first half is pretty much a real constructed documentary, but then it begins to feel like a real constructed mocumentary, and then it just gets incredible. What a great way to not answer anything and have the movie just end, because the answer to the sasquatch question will never be answered as long as there are people like Tad who believe and people like Brad who are skeptic. Very original and vey cool. Well done.

Reminded me of the funny news reports they do on The Daily Show. Very entertaining and professionally done. It looks like something that would be on TV. Good luck, greenlight!

Lacks a convincing, serious approach. You used a real hunting bow. Use a real gun....cause that was the first scene. I wanted to be convinced that this monster really existed. The toy gun shot that out of the water. The real gun could have gone off accidently in that first scene...then he limps with a bandage and cane through every scene, ending up in the fight with the other guy grabbing his injured foot and twisting it to create pain, even beating him with his own cane. The bow and arrow scene was the best. If your opening scenes could have the same seriousness and depth, you could have pulled it off. Maybe you're tryin' to put too much stuff in a short period of time. The black and white worked perfect to seperate those scenes from the rest of the piece.

one of the best things i have seen on this website. it is different and does not try insult the audience with self righteous pods that the creator uses to make himself feel so edgy and cool. this just becomes edgy and cool by allowing the audience to absorb the movie, also by not having an ending that goes somewhere amazing that most pods here try and fail. i hope i see this on tv, and more like it.

To be analytically correct, the film expressed the deepest darkest genres of american classic folktales in a manner in which can be described as an ambient and reliving, as oppose to those other films that have many -o- times presued in creating.
In other words, this was pretty damn cool. This Balard kid deserves 1,000 bucks, dinner for two, and a pat on the ol' arse.

When we got this piece into the Current Studio, we all laughed out loud. At first I wondered if "mockumentaries" met Current's standard for nonfiction, and on a case by case basis, I think this one does. It's based on a "real" cultural phenomenon. It has a "real" interview with someone who believes in the "reality" of the subject. It takes it on the topic as Super News does - a real event/issue - through a parody lens. Best of all, it's extremely well done. Bravo!
-
We just wanna say thank you to those who had voted for this video. We never thought that it would do so well so quickly. It started off as a documentary, but through the process we realized how ridiculous documentaries are. They are constructed and faked while preforming as a document of reality. They become just as much of a hoax as the bigfoot legend is. That is when we decided that the movie should begin as a documentary and then bedcome a mockumentary about the people who believe in sasquatch as well as the people who believe in documentaries and reality tv. This video becomes a hoax on the viewer, that the audience is let in on by the end. Once again thanks for the greenlights and for the great comments.

What can you say to an entertaining piece on what some believe a serious subject. My first thought was that this was just another film on "Bigfoot - Does he exist"? But I was drawn in by the characters and story. What made this piece especially enjoying was the footage showing the two argueing. This added the balance between fiction and non-fiction -- Is this story true. Excellent job.

A well done video. I dont like the way it portrays bigfoot enthusiasts. If this were any other animal, it would be classified scientifically, based on the proof that exists. Proof? Hair
