This reminds me of the cockfights I used to see in the Bronx when I was little (don't ask how...my gramma's backdoor didn't squeak..lol). But it is good that this subject matter was brought to light. I want to commend the 239 Boyz on this wonderful documentary. A bit graphic, but that's what I loved about, showing its true nature. I wonder how much a prized fighter can earn? I can't wait for the follow up!

Great subject. The apparatus for lowering/weighing the chickens is insane. I would have never imagined what it looked like. Tough place to shoot because of all the noise -- some title cards might help early to get more information into the piece. Keep it up.

This is a good production however it turns my stomach. This is animal abuse and should not be glorified. This inhumane practice should be stopped whether it's "cultural" or not, this is cruel and stupid. Do these men really have that much lacking that they need to perpetuate this? Aren't their own cocks enough?
