  • Jeff, a longtime Artist in name and tempered vocation has always shown many of his friends how art is truly mastered. Whether waxing poetic on the fundamentals of music, or spouting prose, I have never seen him off his game. One of the truly brilliant and gifted people on this planet. He is one to always lend your ear.
  • The Artist is a new school fool well versed in the ancient techninques of word smithing. A gift to the people. An archetype personified.
  • A truly gifted and brilliant writer, not to mention one of the finest most genuine people I know.

  • that is amazing, quite inspiring. Something I want to show my middle school street kids, you deserve a longer piece.
  • Lets see more!
  • Jeff has a powerful voice that can speak to all while seeking his unique place in the world. I wish there was a way to get more of his performance as a contrast to his internal self. GM.

  • Great pod!
  • Just watched this pod, thought the producers did a good job capturing the essence and journey of Jeff. It wasn't overproduced or overshot. A few scenes to capture the story was all it took. Jeff is clearly in a transition. His struggle is universal - it's something we can all relate to - and that's what makes a great pod.

  • Thanks for all the G-Lights and Comments. We trimmed the fat and added a soundtrack. The piece hits TV real soon. And thanks to Jeff and all the starving 16th Street poets.

  • Hey Jeff...

That kicked ass... great job on the edit Jacobz. Congrats.

Crazy story -- Jeff actually lives directly upstairs from me. And it's not like I live in some giant apartment complex and he lives on the 7th floor or something -0- Crazy....
  • Bronze Johnson regulates on the 16th St chitlin curcuit yet again. Great doc-ette. Eagerly awaiting the unrated directors cut--the one with the scalesman/windowledge/broadsword/peppermill take. No more holdin' out, kid, I know where you "work."
  • Not being from the community, I don't understand how Jeff can survive off his poetry. If he is wildly successful, what happens? Does anyone pay to see this sort of stuff?
