I have a deep love for poetry and spoken word, as I am a writer myself. When I find someone who isn't afraid to write or speak with grim or harsh words such as I commonly use myself, I admire, apriciate, and respect them more than I could ever admire, apriciate, or respect anything else. I don't think that words could ever express how much I loved this piece, for the sheer fact that I relate to it closly. I was extreemly suicidal at about the same age and almost died a few times, in fact, I wouldn't be alive if it weren't for my mother. I may not be black, and I may not be gay, but I know what it can feel like to be abused and to be pushed to the point of where you don't want to live anymore.
