the images are powerful, the movie flows, the last image ( the crosses almost like a white ghost is excellent) - the subject, though, is controversial and debatable ( one cannot forget that this is not the "berlin wall").

nice, powerful images. deserving of a greenlight. (which I did)One shot I'd change would be when you're filming the crosses at around 2:40 and cars keep going in and out of the shot. those cars distracted me, annoyed my vision. Other than that, I really liked the atmosphere you portrayed with the music/lack of narration. nice.

It is a very strong and moving piece.
It did reminded me the Berlin Wall and people who died trying to escape from DDR.
Some could wonder: "What's wrong with those people? They know that it's dangerous. Why do they do it?" But it is always the same thing: it is a HOPE and an URGE for better life that makes them do it. Life like anyone of us has.
I know that. I'm an immigrant myself. And I was lucky to have a chance to do it legally. But many people don't have such luck and will never have. Never...unless they try out some dodgy way.

Very informative, very current, nice cinematic style. might be a wee bit repetitive on the imagery. Would have been nice to hear from a few immigrants even if it was just B roll. Nonetheless I am painting green on this one.

Very powerful imagery. Thought provoking. Well-edited, nice music. You have a very cool style of shooting and editing. I love the ending when the music stops and you just hear the wind blowing. Good credits too. The video- I think it needs something. It has facts interspersed with imagery, but I want more of a story. You could interview an immigrant talking about his struggle, and put his audio under the video. I think that would make it even more powerful. Or even just your crew talking about the experience and how being there and seeing these shocking images made you feel. Just some advice, I still love your video, and am giving you a greenlight. The footage you captured needs to be seen. I hope you get on the air. Nice work!

Very powerful visually. Seems like a heavy topic and you did a nice job of telling the story honestly. The sound effects at the end were powerful if you are trying to make a statement.

My brother MudDuck was right this is a good POD.
The cinematography was very well done. according to Current's story telling guide, and my personal opinion this is a good story told with no words spoken. The somber guitar helps convey the sorrow that should be felt by the viewer. And immigration such a big topic thus far, the POD is needing to be aired regardless of current rank (8). There is no solution in this story, only a message delivered to effect how people view this topic. All the crosses and skulls helps this POD right along.

Visually compelling, and the absence of voice-over only does the piece good, in myt opinion. The handling of the issue itself is good, with a sadness for the lives and opportunities lost taking the foreground, rather than any specific partisan view.
Good work, keep it up! -
I agree with everyone who has had good things to say about the imagery and the music. Working without voice-over is okay, too.
My only criticism...
Would have been twice as compelling it it had been half as long.

Moody and dark. Great visuals and a perfect choice of music to accompany the piece. I liked how you let the images speak for you rather than a voiceover. Greenlight all the way.

Excellent content - IMlayO it needs audio commentary for TV. The background music is great and leaves plenty of room for a voice over.

Check out Sister Beatrice Explores. She thinks that when people discuss the cost of illegal aliens on our medical services etc., they should also let you know how much they generate in profits for the companies that hire them. If we could see a side by side comparison -- cheap labor: profits generated -- I think people might be happy to pay their health care.-

This is so great. I like your method to tell stories...with great images and perfectly suited music. I visited Tijuana and saw the wall with the crosses. It is so sad, but people have to know. This should be shown on TV.
