The saving grace (if you want to think of it that way) is the normality of the people featured. No makeshift shrines, no hysterical pilgrims, just some folk remarking about a curious occurance. Nicely told. GL.

This piece is brilliant in its simplicity--which is actually quite hard to achieve. The structure makes it seems very natural, allowing the participants to be their own wacky, honest selves without any manipulation. Even though it's non-fiction, it reminds me of Christopher Guest's mockumentaries, like A Mighty Wind and Best in Show.

the virgin mary was used as his and probably the only good choice in that day and time similar to now to be used by GOD the father through the holy spirit to bring jesus for our salvation (Awesome) who was the embodiment of Jesus Christ,She's to be honored but not to be worshipped or paraded down city streets as a form of statue(golden calf ) entity. the catholic church knows this. now you do too.

Woah... not sure if anyone else noticed, but there is a definite image of Mary directly above the church at the beginning of this piece. It's giving me goosebumps... it's the same pose as the cell phone... arm and all!
