A segment of the original documentary about people who play WoW. More info at www.gamerfilms.com

Give us non Wow people a little more about what WoW is.
Less on the stereotypes of gamers. And shorter in general.
Give us a rocking introduction to the WoW thing with lots of shots to set the scene. Give us more shots of the conference in general. Too many talking heads.
But all that said, you have some really great material and an interesting subject. Your shooting is nice and the people are interesting to listen to. Good job. -
Excellent shot composition on the interviews. As a non-gamer though, I'd like to see more shot of the games and fewer interviews that go more in-depth. I want to know WHY they people are so into gaming (or their particular game) and what they get out of it. Great job!

WoW! I never knew there was a documentary done on this! I'm an avid WoW player and look forward to see more!

Saw this on the WoW forumns, good job. We should motivate the WoW community to get this to air.

Awesome to see a piece about video games told from the inside!
The piece doesn't have a really strong structure yet. But there is a kind of set-up ("all Warcraft players are fat white guys, right?") and resolution (clearly they are not -- witness the variety) there -- so maybe it's just a matter of drawing that out even more. Because I think the biggest risk is that for a lot of non-Warcraft people this just feels like a collection of clips.
They are really interesting clips, though. Nice work capturing such an assortment of characters. -
Like everyone has said that the structure seemed like it started but went off into costumes and such
pick one think for this short documentary
i liked everything else, nicey done! -
This topic has been done a few times now. Half the gaming population is fat geeky guys that live in a fantasy world, look at Everquest 1+2 , more addicting to people than physical drugs, in game legal marraiges etc. Accept it, just because you aren't a geek there's 5 people for every non-geek that is. Why fight it? Why whine about it? If you like games, play them.
-
a little cliche at the beginning of the piece. if it was 1990, the "game geek" idea would have been a novelty. i would have like to hear more about the game tie-ins. the piece assumes the audience knows the WoW game. nice effort though.
