very imformative...i hope it makes it live.

Very good, I would get rid of the corny face graphic at the begining, just show the graph. GREEN

I think it is very important for people to see it and to realise what's going on in America. I could certainly comment the graphics and quality all together, but I think the content is more important here. I give my green light and God will bless me for that (although I'm not religious)

Very good idea. Good interviews. Just wayy toooooo long. Make it 3 minutes. Eliminate all the bad sound. Take out the bloppers at the end - doesn't fit with the rest of the piece. Please tighten, as you have a really important thing here, it is just that it repeats itself alot.

It would be very interesting to see a collaboration with some of the producers of recent "current" uploads for graphics depicting the breakdown of federal spending of tax$.

Best if it was kept fair and balanced. There were so many people against it, although that doesn't surprise me.
The defense budget has always been a lot. 2006 accounted for 49.9% of spending of the total budget. During Clinton's term it was an average of 50%. Not much of a change eh?
Why doesnt this interview ask military personnel? Would you people rather lower the pay of the people in uniform who already don't get paid much anyway? Like I said, it should be fair to the viewers and not an opinion solely from a "mountain town", let's keep it educated! Below is the breakdown of spending of the 2006 defense budget. As you can see $108.94 is going to the men and women in uniform and to advance our weapons. I don't know about you people, but I don't want this country to sit around and become a smaller military power than say... Iran. Keyword here, defense... Maybe people forgot about 9/11 and the thousands of people killed. I don't recall any shortage of books here. We could pay our teachers more. However that is state level operations, not federal. Maybe increase some spending in that "mountain town." If the government was going to spend 419.3 billion on energy - why not just buy us all gas! Get a grip on reality here people! Just some more b/s to try to make the Republicans look bad.
The fiscal 2006 defense budget of $419.3 billion represents a 4.8 percent increase over fiscal 2005 in real terms, but is about $3 billion less than projected for fiscal 2006 in last year's plan.
This budget does not include an expected administration request for $80 billion in supplemental appropriations, including $75 billion for the Defense Department to cover the cost of military operations in Iraq and Afghanistan in the current fiscal year.
Highlights of the spending include $108.94 billion for military personnel, including funding for a 3.1 percent pay raise and additional recruiting and retention bonuses for troops. That funding would include $4.1 billion for Special Operations forces -- boosting their numbers by 1,400 and increasing spending for language training -- underscoring the request's assessment that the forces have "contributed significantly" to the war on terror. The budget also allocates $416 million to start the repatriation of 70,000 military personnel from overseas bases.
In terms of weapons systems, procurement funding declined about 2 percent to $78 billion. Funding was stepped up for some systems considered important to the military's goal of modernizing: The Army's Future Combat System receives $3.4 billion, an increase of $200 million; and the Navy's Littoral Combat Ship gained an increase of $156 million to $613 million.
But the budget would cut funding for such weapons systems as the F/A-22 fighters, DD(X) destroyers, LPD amphibious ships, Virginia-class attack submarines and V-22 tilt-rotor aircraft.-

ps: have you seen the Ben&Jerry cartoon breaking down the use of tax $$ for military and all other spending? If not, you'll dig it. Same basic argument. Go to: link

here is my opinion;
Get rid of the chessy graphics, smile face, draws, etc.
Get rid of the chessy transitions, swipe, checkered, cross over, etc
The pod is way to long, 3 mins like someone suggested is excellant.
You have great content, it gets very repeative.
I love the idea, concept, interviews, camera work.
The editing was the problem.
FIx that and I will definitly give green light
