Catastrophe As Opportunity: from the Ashes at Lama
The world in which we live spins wildly out-of-balanced. From natural resources being near exhaustion, industrial poisons indiscriminately dumped into waterways, chemical pesticides once used as weapons of war, now dumped by the gallons on our food sources and injected into our soils, while global warming gives rise to temperatures significant enough to cause catastrophic fires, hurricanes and the melt of the Polar Ice Cap. With warning signs like these, still most refuse to see the edge of collapse to which we all live perilously close. There are those however, who see this edge in clear view. Travel with us as we visit one such community of seers. Among Americas oldest

This inspirational video shows how the vision of the hippie culture lives on in a simple intentional community inspired and funded by Ram Das and the classic "Be Here Now". The fire that burned the buildings brought these people in closer alignment with nature. Very well done, this simple living and working together is the hope for our species!

What a beautiful story.
Coming on this particular day, to this particular person... I'm so happy for you & grateful for the hopeful Spirit you've warmed in me this evening.
One day, I will need to visit, to meet such an amazing, sustainable community of Purposeful LIving.
A few nights ago, I despaired for Canada's future for North America's Freedoms of Thought & Deed.
Thank you.
Thank you.

I really liked this piece. I didn't even know the Lama Foundation was still around, let alone what it had gone through.
Take a look at my clip, if you have a moment, at: <a href=" http://www.current.tv/watch/36230603">link</...-
