Taken a few blocks from one onother you can see how kids and adults both cool down on the hottest days in NYC. Hydrants....

  • Sheessh, cool idea (no pun intended) but if you want a suggestion, try getting more shots, its still over 80 here in NYC and my area ( amsterdam ave to riverside dr/ 135th to 145th streets Harlem) must be running every available hydrant at full blast...

    maybe you want to say something about how to cool off or how much drinking water is being literally sent down the drain, or maybe the fact that the city has "sprinkler caps" that are supposed to allow people to use the hydrants to cool off without wasting so much water but the process to get them is a bit complex...

    I thought alot about it, but I am working on a few pods now so I can't start anything new.

    But if you get enough footage (maybe get a friend to hold the phone while you drive) do some research (google, 311#) and record yourself talking about your story you coulld really throw up something hot (pun intended)
