In an unusual press conference inside City Council Chambers, New Orleans officials and the mothers of recent night-time shooting victims spoke out together. "End the Violence!" was the call. Crimestoppers has announced a growing award, now approaching $25,000.00 for the names of the shooters.
Councilwoman Cynthia Hedge Morrell decried the failure of local schools for the last 30 years as the "Harvest we reap".....
