Here, twenty-one residents of a low-income housing facility speak candidly about issues they face as well as broader issues relative to us all. Filmed singularly but edited to resemble a ‘neighborhood meeting’, these residents who represent a sampling of society some may rather hide, show themselves as interesting people with a lot to say. The entire 12 pod is available here. Please love it.

  • I liked it. It was too long. I wanted to stop watching it, because it felt like it was dragging, but the voices and the faces kept my attention. I felt like I needed to give them my time. Well done.
  • Well, I think you are the next great filmmaker/the next BIG director and if the Current folks are smart, they'll hire you on the spot. You took a plain, simple set-up and really worked it! I mean, it takes an amazing director to pull that off. And you did it so well. I'm intrigued by all the stories here and the faces you captured...the emotion these people revealed to you is so compelling. You've showed me that no matter how "confined" the circumstances may be, there's no excuse not to shoot, not to document the stories of people we don't usually get to hear. Eventhough I'm planning to enter the contest myself, my money's on you to win...

  • it works...
but the one interwiew escenario reveals the way the film was develop, and the hole concept around it was kind of poor, tedious and has been use too many times, like a "studentfilm" kind of thing...
    nonedeless it´s a good essay...
