Six students of Morgan Hill, a small town south of San Jose, successfully sued their school district for anti-gay harassment and were able to obtain a settlement and a change in school policy. They were able to get the school to create a program that teaches tolerance of gay and lesbian students on the high school level.

I was interested, so interested in "unlearning discrimination" but it was just a little long. That seems to be the number one comment on Current: cut it! It felt too didactic, but I love the three slice approach - shows the interconnectedness of it all.

It is appalling to know that a public school district has to be taken to court to recognize the violation of civil rights. Oh wait, it's been done before. Remember the Arkansas 5? Discrimination of any type is unaccpectable. I would hate to see the money I pay in school taxes being used to settle a law suit because my school district was too blinded by fear and hate to offer training in issues of social justice. Nice job with taking on the big bad wolf. Movie was a bit too long.
