there are loads of straight people out there who seem to feel really threatened by the idea of gay people being in long-term committed relationships (also known as marriage). I think it's important for them to realise how mundane and boring a long-term committed relationship can be, even a gay one.
If you don't like homosexuals that's your business, but the State is under an obligation to treat all its citizens equally.

  • this is really sweet- I love your angle on this issue and I think it is powerful in its simplicity. I would love to see it developed a little more- perhaps a bit more dialogue and some more interaction. This is a nice start, though!
  • I really like the simple concept. But i agree w/ the gallixsee media lady in that it could be developed a little more. Or you could cut it down to about 30-40 seconds and let the scene speak for itself. Also, just my preference, the fade to black at the end could look a little cleaner if it sync'd up better w/ the light turning off. Maybe not even using a fade and just going straight to black. Just a thought.
  • What a great idea, I strongly believe in anyone's rights to equality and nobody is an exception. This really gets a good point across, I enjoyed it immensely, it made me laugh!

  • I agree that it could use some tightening, and honestly, the ending is a little heavy-handed. Still, excellent piece, and powerful stuff.

  • Love it. It's very sweet in nature. The title draws in the fiends (myself numbered one among them, obviously, lol), and the evolution of action slowly works to convert their expectations by exposing what appears to be a moment of normal, everyday life. I liked the endcard; it doesn't shame the viewer, but rather works somehow to garner empathy and even comradeship. It won me. Good job, keep going : )

  • I love the message, but I think that you could have shown a series of couples to make it more compelling.

  • I like it. It could use some refining, but this alone was worth the greenlight.

  • LOVED it! to the point and taken!

(of course if it were "gay men" in the video you would have over 200 yippies...but since its lesbians...well we know what we really rank in the gay world.)
  • I like how it's short and to the point. But I'm not sure if the message is clear. And I don't know if married couples, straight or not, are afraid of instances like this. I think walking in on your 'other' in bed with somebody would 'cause for a book to be thrown. lol

    Good job!

  • Great concept. I think it could go through an edit to cut it down or add more couples to make it more powerful and to the point. I liked it though. Good work!

  • Oh no. I'd get such a slap if I threw that book out the bed. No sir!
  • Usually it is laptop that needs to be thrown out of bed! I think this is very common and therefore well chosen idea. Thanks for this, hope to see more in the future.
